Trip Overview:

The Honor Band will be performing at the 2025 Charleston Music Festival in April. The Charleston Music Festival was founded in

2013 by music educators whose goal was to provide a rewarding and educational experience for middle and high school ensembles.

Groups will perform a typical MPA-type program for three adjudicators who will provide ratings and recorded feedback. Immediately

following the stage performance, one of the adjudicators will give a clinic to the group. The Carowinds Music Festival will be on

Monday April 14th. Students will need to provide their own personal money for meals in the park and for souvenirs.

Attending students will be part of both trips, as there is not rehearsal time in between to adjust for missing sounds.

Trip Specifics:

The trip price is estimated at $150.00 per student, unless students have a Carowinds season pass and then the cost will be $110.

For this price students will receive the following:

* Activity bus transportation for both trips

* Visit to Frankie’s Fun Park with included $25 Activity Card

* Admission at Wando HS to the events and clinics

* Admission at Carowinds for the performance and rides afterwards

Option 1: $150 Charleston Music Festival, Carowinds Music Festival (NO Carowinds season pass)

Option 2: $110 Charleston Music Festival, Carowinds Music Festival (Carowinds season pass) Please include season pass number with student name

Fees are due by Friday, March14th and are not refundable or transferable.

Students with Carowinds season passes must have them in hand by the morning of the event or they won't be able to board bus.
